Working with Home Improvement Agencies & Local Authorities
Rockwood delivers external adaptation works commissioned through Disabled Facilities Grants and related programmes. We work to the specification and requirements provided by the commissioning organisation, coordinating survey, design, groundworks and construction within one contractor. Rockwood does not provide medical or occupational therapy assessments - we construct the external works that follow them.
One contractor for the full external adaptation
An external adaptation rarely involves a single trade. A ramp may require drainage alterations, retaining structures, fencing, resurfacing and landscaping reinstatement. Rockwood delivers each of these elements directly, removing the need to coordinate multiple contractors around one property.
